As VITO/EnergyVille we were proud and honoured to host the DHC+ Summer School this year. EnergyVille is a cooperation between KUL, VITO, IMEC and UHasselt on renewable energy research. The students went on a trip through DHC time, symbolically starting at our head office in Genk, Belgium; located on top of an old coal mine. A third generation heating network was explored in Antwerp, followed by the innovative DHC low temperature network of Heerlen, the Netherlands and the deep geothermal thermal network in Mol. A great initiative by DHC+ Technology Platform to prepare the next generation of DHC experts.
